Michael McDonald joined PFM in 2005 and works with clients in the national transportation cluster and municipalities throughout the Southeast. In this capacity, he provides the primary analytical support for debt transactions, strategic and financial planning, computer modeling, pricing and cash flow analysis to meet the specific needs of PFM's clients.

Mr. McDonald has been involved in the issuance of over $2 billion of both insured and rated debt utilizing interest rate swaps, forward agreements, GARVEE's, variable rate demand bonds, and auction rate securities in addition to traditional fixed rate deals. A representative client list includes: Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), Michigan DOT, Maryland DOT, Maryland Transportation Authority and Hillsborough County, FL.

Mr. McDonald holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees from the University of Florida. Prior to joining PFM, he was an Institutional Trust Officer for SunTrust Banks.
