Mr. Spears recently joined PFM from Federated Investors located in Pittsburgh where he began his career as a Multi-Trust Consultant and later served as Marketing Representative and Vice President/Global Accounts, successfully leading sales and client satisfaction efforts in the Bank Marketing Division. Mr. Spears most recently served as Vice President in the Institutional Sales division where he worked extensively with public and corporate pension programs, as well as the investment consulting community. During his 18-year tenure at Federated Investors, assets under management grew from $25 billion to over $200 billion. Mr. Spears contributed to this expansion through his leadership efforts and dedication to customer service.

As a Senior Managing Consultant at PFM Advisors, Mr. Spears' principal focus will be to provide investment management consulting services and market the Managed Accounts Program (MAP) to Public Pension programs, Taft Hartley plans and Hospitals, Endowments and Foundations.

Mr. Spears holds a B.S. Degree in Management Science and Organizational Behavior from Penn State University.
