Mr. Newman joined PFM in 1992 and was promoted to Managing Director in 1995.

Over the past 20 years, some of Mr. Newman's major clients have included the City of Austin, Texas, Texas Water Development Board, Dallas/Ft Worth International Airport, the Alaska Energy Authority, Texas A & M University, Oklahoma City and various other cities, school districts, counties and municipal districts. He has served as an expert witness on behalf of the Texas PUC, served in an advisory capacity to the Texas State Affairs Committee on Finance and as speaker at numerous seminars and training programs related to municipal finance. His areas of expertise include power and general government finance.

Mr. Newman has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from East Texas State University with graduate studies at St. Edward's University.
