S. Mark Guastella, Senior Managing Consultant, comes to PFM Asset Management after serving as Executive Director of the Michigan School Investment Association (MSIA) for 6+ years. In this capacity Guastella was responsible for all operations of the Association, including independent advice on cash management and investments, cash flow analysis, member training, regulatory updates and policy development.

Mr. Guastella was a personal investment advisor (Series 6 and 66) immediately prior to joining MSIA. He offered financial planning, analysis and retirement plan counseling through SII.

From 1978 through 1999 Mark was employed by Community First Bank in Lansing, Michigan. A Vice President, he was responsible for all operational and sales activities in the Bank's Retail Network. He served on numerous committees including CRA, Product and Pricing and Retail Sales. He was responsible for re-engineering the Branch Network for operational efficiencies and conducted Branch Feasibility studies for the Bank.

Guastella graduated from Michigan State University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Business Administration. He has been active in community service and within his local School District. He is currently a Director of the Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation providing support and direction in the activities of the largest privately funded college scholarship program in the United States.
