Mr. Shellenberger is a Senior Managing Consultant in the San Francisco office. With over 10 years experience, he has served as project manager and/or senior analyst on over $6 billion in financings involving new money issuance, refundings, fixed rate, variable rate and derivative product implementation. He has worked for a broad cross section of clients including cities, counties, water and waste water, airports and numerous transportation clients across the U.S.

Mr. Shellenberger is an active participant in PFMs national transportation practice and a recognized expert in capital financial planning. He has developed long-range capital plans for San Diego Regional Transportation Commission, Sacramento Transportation Authority, Denver Regional Transit District, Miami Dade Transit, and the Inland Empire Utilities Agency among others. He has executed numerous financial transactions for many of these clients based upon the adopted long-range plans.

Prior to joining PFM, Mr. Shellenberger worked with KPMG Consulting in Washington DC. Mr. Shellenberger received his Masters Degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley.
