Monique Spyke joined PFM's Structured Products Group in 2003 where her primary focus is the development and implementation of bond proceeds investment strategies.

Ms. Spyke brings to bear expertise in the application of federal tax law to these strategies and has devised and implemented numerous investment strategies to comply with tax law while maximizing retainable earnings.  Ms. Spyke also serves as the firm's primary liaison to the structured product provider community in her role as manager of the firm's structured investment business.  In this position Ms. Spyke oversees the competitive procurement of structured investments including guaranteed investment contracts, repurchase agreements, and forward delivery agreements, contract negotiation and pricing, and performs cash flow and sensitivity analysis. 

During her tenure at PFM, Ms. Spyke has structured and bid more than 370 investment agreements for over $47 billion of related debt.

Ms. Spyke is a graduate of Smith College, where she earned a dual degree in Economics and African- American Studies.
