Ms. Blanchett joined Public Financial Management as a Senior Managing Consultant in April 2004 and manages the Ann Arbor, Michigan financial advisory office. Prior to joining PFM, Ms. Blanchett worked for two major Michigan financial advisory firms for 20 years and has worked in municipal finance since 1984.

Ms. Blanchett has served as the lead financial advisor on more than 1,300 municipal financings. Ms. Blanchett's clients include Michigan cities, counties, villages, school districts, intermediate school districts, water, sewer and electric utility systems and districts, special tax districts, airports, library districts, special authorities, colleges, and State agencies and authorities. Ms. Blanchett's areas of expertise include transaction management, credit analysis, capital planning, rate setting, cash flow analysis, and municipal disclosure.
Ms. Blanchett has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Davenport University / Detroit College of Business and is a member of several municipal, school and finance related organizations.
