Gordon Mann is a member of PFM's Management and Budget Consulting practice, managing projects where the firm provides financial, budgetary and operational analysis, and direction to county and municipal governments.
At PFM, Gordon has worked extensively to help counties and municipalities develop multi-year plans, which are multi-faceted strategies to overcome the operational and financial challenges that push their budgets out of balance. Through these engagements, he has worked on public safety, public works and finance functions in addition to broader challenges related to workforce management and revenue generation and collection.
Earlier in his career, Gordon served as Deputy Director of Public Affairs for a New York State Senator, handling media relations, communications and public affairs responsibilities for the Senate Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Chair. In addition, he was the project manager for a multi-million dollar renovation to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena and a district wide reading program.
Along with his government experience, Gordon has years of experience in sports journalism, including contributing to print and radio coverage of several NCAA national championship events.
