Peter Scoliard is a specialist in structuring innovative capital markets solutions for higher education and other not-for-profit institutions. Peter joined PFM as a senior financial consultant in the firm’s Boston office in February 2010, and recently was promoted to the position of director at the firm’s Providence office.

Before joining PFM, Peter served as a director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked at the company and its predecessor companies for nearly 27 years. He started his career at Fleet National Bank in 1983 as a management trainee in the Credit Department and transferred to the Public Finance Department in 1985, where he was responsible for structuring revenue bonds for not-profit corporations. Peter joined Bank of America Securities LLC, which became a part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2009, through the merger of Fleet Boston Corporation and Bank of America Corporation in 2004.

Peter has managed bond financings for colleges and universities, independent schools, cultural institutions, hospitals, nursing homes, health centers, and social service agencies. Overall, he has managed in excess of $3 billion in bond transactions throughout his career.
