JoAnne Carter Honored with Trailblazer Award

Throughout JoAnne Carter’s 28 years at PFM, she has been trailblazing for the company, for its clients and for her colleagues.  Under JoAnne’s leadership, PFM’s Virginia practice flourished and in 2018, she took the helm of PFM’s South Region.  In 2021 she was named President of PFM Financial Advisors LLC.  As JoAnne worked to grow the firm, she also worked to create opportunities for women.  JoAnne was instrumental in the formation of the Virginia chapter of Women in Public Finance and she has mentored countless professionals at PFM and across the industry.  For these reasons and so many more, JoAnne was nominated by her peers and selected by the Northeast Women in Public Finance as a trailblazing woman at the 2022 Bond Buyer Deal of the Year and Freda Johnson Awards Gala.  Congratulations to JoAnne!
