Danielle Scott is a senior managing consultant based in PFM’s Management and Budget Consulting practice. She plays a key role in projects where the firm provides budgetary and financial analysis, reviews municipal operations and develops multi-year financial plans to help municipal governments overcome their fiscal challenges. Specializing in cities facing fiscal distress, Danielle helps clients develop long-term blueprints for fiscal, economic and community sustainability.
Danielle relocated to New Orleans in 2017 and has worked with the City on a number of financial and management issues including the outgoing transition process of the Landrieu administration and the 2017 State of the City Finances report.
Danielle has supported PFM's multi-year financial plan work in Houston and assisted the District of Colombia in their analysis of fees and revenue. She has also contributed multi-year projection models for Missouri City, TX’s General Fund, for capital planning in Derry Township, PA, and for revenue and cash flow projections for Washington State Department of Agriculture’s Fruit and Vegetable and Grain Programs.
Danielle also serves as core staff to the National Resource Network, a Federal initiative that provides economically distressed cities with heavily subsidized technical assistance. In this role, Danielle provided strategic and budget advice in Hartford, CT and has been an integral part of providing budget forecast modeling for Gary, IN, Compton, CA and Richmond, CA and assisted in multi-year financial planning in Danville, VA, Rockford, IL, and Trenton, NJ.
