Kristy Choi has over 10 years of experience in evaluating financing alternatives, monitoring and structuring debt issuances, managing and executing transactions, developing credit stratgies and crafting debt management and financial policies. During her career, Kristy has advised on over 60 transactions with a total par amount of over $6 billion.
Kristy provides project management and serves as day-to-day contact for her clients in Virginia. Her responsibilities include reviewing disclosure documents, structuring new bond issuances, restructuring existing debt issuances, overseeing the ratings process, preparing terms and conditions of sales and creating customized models for quantitative analysis. She also has experience analyzing and evaluating long-term financial plans and conducting debt capacity analysis for her clients.
Kristy received a B.A. in Economics and Women’s Studies from the University of Virginia. Currently, she serves on the board of the Virginia Women in Public Finance. Kristy was the first recepient of the Virginia Women in Public Finance Rising Star Award in 2013. She is a registered Municipal Advisor Representative (Series 50).
