Marcie Lewis joined PFM in 2012 in the Huntsville office and has over 20 years of experience providing financial advisory services for a variety of clients in the U.S. in the general municipal and higher education client areas. She has an interest in affordable housing finance, particularly with public housing authorities. Marcie has worked with an array of clients across the country on debt transactions, financial planning, refunding and financial modeling. Her experience includes taxable, tax-exempt, competitive, and negotiated sales as well as an array of refunding and debt restructuring issues.
In 2018, Marcie helped form an Alabama chapter of Women in Public Finance. She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors and is involved in all aspects of the organization including membership, programming, networking, and recruitment. In 2019, Marcie was nominated to the national chapter of Women in Public Finance and currently serves on the Board of Directors.
In 2008, Marcie earned the designation of Certified Independent Municipal Advisor (CIMA) in accordance with the National Association of Independent Municipal Advisors (NAIMA) bylaws and testing procedures. She was the first individual in Alabama to earn this designation. Marcie also serves on the Boards of the Low Income Housing Coalition of Alabama (since its founding in 2007) and CASA of Madison County and is a past President of the Board of the North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless.
