Doug joined PFM in April of 2016 and currently serves as a senior quality assurance specialist in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Doug focuses primarily on software quality initiatives for PFM Solutions/Whitebirch.

In concert with building a comprehensive software development and testing capability he designed, implemented and administers a flexible and extensive software workflow and issue management system built on Atlassian’s JIRA platform. To foster team collaboration, he created team spaces in Atlassian Confluence. More recently he designed and implemented the Whitebirch Software User Community Forum build on the phpBB platform. The site contains user forums for the Whitebirch Team as well as forums for clients for the purposes of communication, collaboration and assistance for software and modeling questions and best practices. Doug is responsible for software testing to ensure quality of Whitebirch and is currently engaged in efforts to build out the team and expand the software testing capability.

Prior to joining PFM Doug has held numerous positions in the area of software quality assurance. He has credentials as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance and is a Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) from QAI. He is affiliated with Agile Philly, The Philly Atlassian User Group and The Philadelphia Area Technology Professionals Networking Group (TPNG).
