Nicklas is a senior managing consultant who joined the Orlando office in May 2008. He provides technical and analytical leadership for clients located primarily in Florida. His responsibilities include structuring financings, transaction management of new money and refunding municipal bond issuances, implementation of credit rating plans, identifying refunding opportunities and developing debt strategies for clients. He regularly assists in the creation of specialized quantitative models used to support clients with their unique financings.
Nicklas is knowledgeable of the issues that are important to wide variety of issuers. He has assisted in the issuance of general obligation, revenue, tax increment and special assessment bonds, lease financings, and anticipation notes. His extensive experience ranges from advising issuers with populations of less than 5,000 residents, to some of the of largest cities in the state of Florida. Nicklas also has a long history of serving as financial advisor to Utilities and School Districts.
Nicklas graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a registered Municipal Advisor Representative (Series 50).
