Tyler joined PFM’s Los Angeles office in 2016 and serves as financial advisor to municipal entities in the West with particular focus on water, wastewater and public power agencies. He has advised on a wide variety of financing and credit structures, including inaugural credits, financing for water storage, conveyance and conjunctive use projects, water reclamation, recycled water and indirect potable reuse projects and desalination. Tyler has experience financing through the California Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds and the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA). Additionally, Tyler has completed renewable energy prepayment financings, advised on energy storage and water purchase agreements and utility rate securitization.

Tyler is a frequent speaker on topics related to water and municipal finance and was recently named to the Bond Buyer’s 2017 class of Rising Stars in the municipal bond industry.

Prior to joining PFM, Tyler spent over a decade as an investment banker, completing over $20 billion of financings, including revenue bonds, general obligation bonds, bond anticipation notes, tax and revenue anticipation notes, variable rate bonds and index tender bonds, among other structures.
