Stephen joined PFM’s healthcare practice in 2016 after five years at KPMG in public accounting. As a senior managing consultant, he works closely with healthcare, higher education, and other non-profit clients to support them with capital planning, risk management, and transaction execution. This ongoing work includes but is not limited to credit, debt capacity, and peer analyses.
From 2011 through 2016, during his time at KPMG LLP Boston his time was spent performing financial statement audits in the asset management, higher education, and government sectors. He focused primarily on the audit engagements of Registered Investment Companies in addition to hedge and private equity funds. Additionally, he was a national instructor as well as a data and analytics champion at the firm.
Stephen attained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2016 and is member of the CFA Society of Boston. Additionally, Stephen attained his Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Massachusetts, which is no longer active.
